Just for adults Chip butty

Just for adults chip butty, a spicy twist on a British classic. With hot french fries and a spicy sauce, it is a perfect naughty treat for a cold day.

  • 500 g oven chips (or fried if you like)
  • 1/2 cup good quality mayo
  • 1 tbsp hot harrisa paste
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • pinch sea salt
  • 1 tsp chopped flat leaf parsley
  • juice of half a lemon
  • 8 slices soft bread
  • Butter


  • Cook the french fries/chips based on the directions on the bag. In the meantime, combine all the sauce ingredients in a small bowl. 
  • Spread the butter on one side of the bread, top with hot chips and then a good dose of a sauce followed by another slice of bread. Devour with a cold drink.
